Billie Eilish의 *“BIRDS OF A FEATHER”*에서 받은 느낌에서 시작한 곡입니다. 평소 좋아하는 리듬과 장르의 노래이기도 합니다.
GarageBand의 **“Percussive Squares”**라는 인스트루멘트를 테스트하다가 만들어진 곡으로, 당시에는 짧은 시간 안에 전체적인 멜로디와 코드 프레임이 만들어졌습니다.
정확히 기억나지는 않지만 아마 2025년쯤 만들었던 것 같습니다. 이후 오랫동안 방치되어 있다가, 하드를 정리하면서 예전 파일들을 지우는 바람에 지금은 2026년 4월에 남겨둔 카피만 가지고 있습니다.
젊은 느낌의 가사를 붙여보고 싶었습니다. 그러다 **“See U Again”**과 **“Feel U Again”**을 작업하면서 사용해 본 Suno의 가사 생성 기능을 이 곡에도 적용해 보았습니다.
오리지널 멜로디와 코드로 만든 리드 시트 샘플을 바탕으로, **“How U Make Me Feel”**이라는 제목에 어울리는 가사를 AI에게 생성하게 한 뒤 이를 수정하면서 곡을 완성해 나갔습니다.
최종적으로 선택한 곡은 제가 처음 작곡했던 Verse와 Chorus의 멜로디와는 다른 방향으로 만들어진, 제 오리지널 멜로디를 기반으로 한 AI 커버 버전이었습니다. 왠지 Retro & Trendy Chill Pop 같은 느낌이 있었고, 어릴 적 첫사랑이나 First Crush, Puppy Love 같은 풋풋한 감정이 떠오르는 곡이었습니다.
곡이 어느 정도 준비된 뒤에는 온라인에서 찾은 이미지를 참고해 전체적인 비주얼 콘셉트의 무드와 방향을 잡았습니다.
**“See U Again”**과 **“Feel U Again”**에서 이어온 SoundFrame101 콘셉트로, ChatGPT, Kling AI, Photoshop을 사용해 영상의 기반이 되는 이미지와 영상 소스를 제작했습니다.
마지막으로 DaVinci Resolve에서 AI로 생성한 영상 클립들을 활용해 미세한 움직임과 필터를 더하고, 한 장의 이미지가 프레임 안에서 움직이는 듯한 영상으로 완성했습니다.
